Their tasks include, but are not limited to, long term indirect activities, including guerrilla warfare and other low visibility and clandestine offensive operations. They are specialised in silent advance techniques, night combat and reconnaissance, and are as deadly as they are stealthy. The terrible reputation of the Expeditionary Unit makes their work easy, with human troops fleeing at the thought of being eaten. The Aswuangs are the awful man-eating soldiers of the Combined Army, embodying the true horror of the alien invasion.
